I’ve add the computation of cone height so you can see the difference between arc length and cone height (sum of section’s lengths).
Difference is 1.2mm if 4 sections and reduce to 0.77mm if 5 sections.
I’ve just release new installation file for the applications:
Before installing the new software please un-install the old version.
User of non demo Pipe Designer, please contact me.
Some little progress, I’ve been able to find time to make an installation setup program.
Or in the download menu.
Test it and send feedback.
As scheduled, a little upgrade of the software during the Xmas break and now it is possible the unfolded cone sections to DXF drawings.
Need to check the software for wrong user manipulation and think about install setup like for PipeDesigner.
Below updated GUI with DXF button and DXF viewer screen shots.
To go with the PipeDesigner software, I’ve decided to develop an unfold bent cone module.
I think the maths are OK so I’m able to draw the unfold patterns according to:
See below the first test :
I’ve started developing a simple program for unfolding bent cone to flat metal sheets.
It will be very simple and useful in addition to PipeDesigner.
