Just updated the ConeDesigner software (1.4.1 / 2021).
Import from PipeDesigner software has been improved to design rolled cone directly from Pipe Skeleton.
I’m using the lock-down to check the software:
I’ve been debugging and adding some new features. I’m planning to add import facility to ConeDesigner so pipe skeleton could be easily designed as rolled cones.
Stay tuned because all user of full version will be candidate for an upgrade.

Working from home due to circumstances… I’ve planned to update the ConeDesigner program with a new feature :
A little upgrade of the programs to improve their efficiency.
No major evolution but a better execution and installation.
A new release of the program to solve a bug when number of section is more than 9.

A version 1.3.1 of ConeDesigner should be available this evening (if everything does well).
The intersection between a cone and a plan is not a circle but an ellipse, so I’ve modified my computation code. The objective is to obtain input and output perimeters of the angled cone identical to the perimeters of the circles upstream and downstream.
Here the corrections and some new features:
To do : improve input control for D1 must be greater than D2.
